At Westmoor Estates, we are guided by a firm set of values and principles. As a family-owned, investment, development and management company we take an active role in improving the quality of the built environment in our home county of Lincolnshire.

With over a quarter of a century of experience, we’ve developed a range of different approaches to what we do, all informed by our core values.

A family approach rooted in the local area

To understand the Westmoor Estates brand and what we’re all about, you have to begin with family. We are a family business, and one that is rooted in our local community. We’re passionate about our hometown of Sleaford, the county of Lincolnshire, its built environment and creating a sustainable future. The Westmoor approach centres on sustainable development, building on what we have inherited from our forebears, while creating something that serves the needs of the local economy, both now and in the future. Our thorough knowledge of the local environment and the economy that supports it, guides all of our investment decisions.

A creative and flexible approach

As with family and community, development is sometimes organic and not always linear. We adapt and respond creatively to changing situations, placing a strong emphasis on relationships. We focus on providing a personal approach, that reflects the aspirations, ideas and needs of our clients. We are always willing to allow investment and development projects to evolve and respond to a changing situation on the ground.

Supporting thoughtful design and sensitive regeneration

When we consider any investment, we keep the concerns and priorities of the local community at the forefront of our thinking. We also consider the overall impact that any development might have on the local environment. It’s easy for inappropriate developments to overwhelm existing buildings and to upset the fragile balance of our towns and villages. As a legacy business, we want the developments we invest in to reflect their environment while being of practical value for current and future use.

Through our extensive, multi-generational experience and local roots, we’ve developed unique insights and perspectives that we bring to underused properties. We help our clients repurpose their assets, from initial appraisal, through ideas development and project management to completion. We work to maximise the potential income of any completed development at the same time as serving the needs of our local community.

Because of our reputation locally, we’re often called in to provide a bespoke project management service for ambitious and interesting developments in our community. Our values, knowledge and extensive experience make us valuable partners when it comes to turning ideas into reality. We work with clients who may have the ideas and resources necessary to create an outstanding development, but who lack the necessary technical know-how or are maybe just short of time. With a focus on good stewardship and prudent decision making, we keep a firm check on spending, ensuring that budgets aren’t allowed to spiral.

Westmoor Estates is a business where all our passions collide. We all have an interest in property. Whether that’s through investment and development, through interior or exterior design or the integrity of the materials used. Our practical experience, and organisational skills combined with our eye or design and attention to detail, dovetail perfectly to create the vision for our projects.
